Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma invites President of India to visit Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary

Gana Adhikar News, New Delhi, July 2 2021 :

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma called on the President of the country Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi this noon.
” I extended an invitation to him to kindly grace us with his visit to Assam and see Kaziranga (National Park)”, said the Chief Minister following his meeting with the President.

In another development here in the capital city this noon, the Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma met the Union Minister for Women & Child Development and Textiles Smriti Irani.

The Chief Minister discussed issues on women and child development and further development of handloom sectors in the state with the Union Minister Irani.
