Assam Civil Society condemns violent assault on doctors, nurses in Hojai’s Phultali Covid Centre, demands severe punishment to guilty

Guwahati, June 2 : The Assam Civil Society has strongly condemned the brutal attack by the patient’s relatives yesterday on the death of a patient at Udali Phultali Covid Centre in Lanka, Hojai district and demanded the state government to arrest all the perpetrators of the attack and provide severe punishment. In a press release, Assam Civil Society editors Afrida Hussain and Shahjahan Talukdar condemned the barbaric attack on doctors and said that in the recent complex situation of second covid, people associated with health care, including doctors, nurses, have been providing medical care in the midst of difficult situations. The common man is largely safe × the tireless service of these leading covid fighters. It is not the language to condemn such barbaric attacks on people involved in medical care by carrying out family ×. The Assam Civil Society has demanded the government to provide proper security to those involved in medical services, especially government sector medical services.
